This Poker game is played with a 52 card deck that is shuffled after each completed hand. In Double Double Bonus Poker you will be dealt 5 cards. In these 5 cards, you will select the cards you wish to hold or keep that will give you a better chance at a winning combination. As the table below shows, Jacks or Better is the lowest pay and works its way up to the Royal Flush paying the most.
The main difference in Double Double Bonus Poker verses regular Poker is that it allows for more pay rates in the winning combination's of "4 of a kinds". In regular Poker you just have one pay rate for a 4 of a Kind hand of any card, (ex. Four 2’s or four Kings).
Practice Here Now:
There will be times when you have nothing to hold or keep. The cards that you wish to let go will be taken away and you will be given new cards in place of the cards taken. Out of these 5 cards, if you have a winning combination of any kind, you will be paid according to how much you are betting. As the table shows below, Jacks or Better is the lowest pay and works its way up to the Royal Flush paying the most.
Winning Hand | Combination Description |
| Royal Flush | 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of same suit |
| Straight Flush | Five cards in sequence of the same suit |
| Four Aces w/ 2–4 | Four Aces with a 2, 3, or 4 |
| Four 2-4 w/ Ace-4 | Four 2's, 3's, or 4's with an Ace, 2, 3, or 4 |
| Four Aces | Four Aces |
| Four 2–4 | Four 2's, 3's, or 4's |
| Four 5–Kings | Four 5's, 6's, 7's, 8's, 9's, 10's, Jacks, Queens, or Kings |
| Full House | Three of a kind, plus a pair (e.g. 3 Aces and a pair of 2’s) |
| Flush | Five cards of same suit (diamonds, spades, clubs, or hearts) |
| Straight | Five cards in sequence (e.g. 4,5,6,7,8) |
| Three of a Kind | Three cards that are the same (e.g. 3 Fives) |
| Two Pair | Two pairs (e.g. pair of 2’s and pair of Jacks) |
| Jacks or Better | One Pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces |
As you can see from the table above, it does allow you more choices for larger four of a kind wins than a regular game of Poker and more choices in the possible hands you can make. Of course this does result in more money potential in your win combination's as well. So, when you are tired of playing just plain old Jacks or Better Poker, try Double Double Bonus Poker for a little more added excitement.
Playing Poker or Video Poker at an online casino is a little different than if you were playing with other people or with a live dealer. When playing online, you are playing on a machine much like playing on a video poker machine at a land based casino. You select your denomination that you wish to play like $.25 or $.50 and then select how many coins you want to play by pressing the Bet One button for the number of coins you want to bet. Playing all 5 coins offers you the best potential for much larger wins.
If you want to bet all 5 coins, then hit the Bet Max button. Hit the Deal button and you will be dealt 5 cards and then you hold the cards that you want to keep by clicking on the cards or clicking the Hold button. Hit the Draw button and you will be dealt new cards in the place of the cards you did not keep. The winning hand will be paid then or you lose your bet if no winning combination was available. The table below shows the pay scale of each winning combination. *Note: The 'Pay Table' below is used at many online casinos but not all, as different casinos have their own version of the pay table that may not be exactly the same as the one below.
If you win the hand, hit the Collect button. But if you are a risk taker, then you could gamble your winning hand by hitting the Double Button gamble feature. You will have 5 cards with the far left showing. You then select out of the four cards the one card you think will be a higher value card than the card showing. If you win, you can Collect and it will take you back to playing again. Or if you card is smaller than the card showing, you will lose your money and it will take you back to playing again. Personally, I do not recommend the gamble feature. Just take your win and don't let the greed set in!
