GOLDEN LOTUS ~ Real Series Video Slot Game Review

'RealTime Gaming Casinos', (RTG) have been on fire the past couple of weeks with new game releases. One of which I wrote on, "Triton's Treasure", was just released about 2 weeks ago and now another new release, "Golden Lotus", has just been released this past week.


It is also a Real Series Video Slot Game that has beautiful graphics and the ambiance sound of the Orient in the background. "Golden Lotus" is a 25 line, 5-reel, Real Series Video Slot that has several features. You can play from 1 to 25 lines and your bet can range from $.01 to $125 depending on how many lines you play. You have a Minor Jackpot and Major Jackpot that increases with every bet and goes off randomly after a completed spin.

The Golden Lotus Minor Jackpot is reset at $250 once won and the Major Jackpot resets at $1,000 once it has been won. There are 11 regular symbols not counting the wild symbol and scatter symbol in this video slot. The highest paying symbol being the Logo Symbol that pays 8888 times your bet per line in regular spins. The maximum win per paid spin is 50,000 times bet per line. The scatters, when 2 or more land, is multiplied by total bet and line wins are multiplied by bet per line.

The wild symbol which is represented by the Golden Lotus (pictured above) substitutes for every symbol except the scatter symbol. When you get 3 or more Golden Lotus symbols, you enter the Golden Lotus Bonus Feature. This bonus takes you to a screen that allows you 4 picks of the Golden Lotus flower that will either award you up to 100 times your bet or 5, 10, 15 or 20 free spins. If any free spins are awarded, then you go into the free spin mode and all White Lotus symbols are changed to the Golden Lotus symbol or the Logo Symbol.

All wins during the free spins are tripled and if you are playing less than the 25 lines, only the lines that were being played before the 'Golden Lotus Bonus' was triggered pay when a winning combination hits on those lines. This feature can be re-triggered during the free spins when 3 or more Golden Lotus symbols appear anywhere on the lines during a spin.

The scattered symbol is represented by the White Lotus symbol. When 3 or more White Lotus symbols appear, you go into the White Lotus Bonus Feature. In this feature, 8 free spins are awarded and only lines being played when this bonus feature was hit will be paid if any winning combination is hit on those lines. All White Lotus symbols are changed to the Golden Lotus symbol or Logo symbol during this feature and wins are multiplied either by 3X, 4X or 5X times which will be revealed at the top of the screen. This feature can also be re-triggered if 3 or more Golden Lotus symbols appear anywhere on the lines during the free spins.

The pros to this game are of course the bonus features it offers and the free spins during these features can be very profitable. The cons to it are that re-triggering in the Golden Lotus Bonus did not happen very often or as often as we would have preferred in our testing.
