Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino ~ Las Vegas Casino Reviews

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
Mandalay Bay Casino & Hotel: There are a total of over sixty seven thousand hotel rooms on the Las Vegas Strip and nineteen of the twenty five largest hotel properties in the world are located here. Anchoring the south end of the Strip is one of the premiere properties in all of Las Vegas; Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.

Mandalay Bay Casino Resort offers elegance and impeccable quality to the discerning visitor in a variety of price points. The luxurious accommodations, fine dining and high end shopping experiences combine to make this property the personal favorite of many inveterate Vegas visitors. The value service and quality are unparalleled, and the total Mandalay experience make it the consummate destination resort.

From the 550 square foot '550DR' deluxe rooms that start at $90 and offer a guaranteed Strip view if you choose a room on the 20th floor or higher to the 2170 square foot 'Media Suites' featuring a 65" plasma TV as the centerpiece to a massive entertainment center, or anything in between - there is a room here for anyone who enjoys romance, elegance and sophistication.

Our recommendation for a mid level (thirty-first through thirty-third floor) would be a Vista Suite. These spectacular rooms offer 180 degree views of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip and Mandalay Beach pool area. The sparkling aqua center is the a perfect jewel to crown the neon strip. These views simply have to be seen to be believed and the rooms themselves leave nothing to be desired. Definitely one of our favorite suites to stay in while visiting Mandalay Bay! And the Vista Suite starts as low as $340 per night.

Of course dining is an integral part of the Mandalay experience and the variety and quality are unsurpassed. Connoisseurs the world over make this their destination for good reason. There are so many unique dining options offered that any craving for ambiance can be satisfied while your palate is titillated and your senses scintillated. And of course your late night or whimsical desire for a quick snack will be satisfied as well.

There are twenty four eating establishments to enjoy here with ten Signature Restaurants, eight opportunities for casual dining, and six places for Quick Eats, so no matter what you desire, you can find it at Mandalay Bay.

The Nightlife at Mandalay Bay is legendary. Drinking and dancing, full out entertainment or a weekend of romance and excitement await you. Anyway you look at it the Nightlife at Mandalay Bay is cool and chic and that is what a good time is all about in Vegas.

Most would agree that when it comes to cool, the cool waters of Mandalay Bay Beach are the ultimate in Las Vegas water attractions. Mandalay Beach is eleven acres of awesome and is unequaled anywhere in the world. This highly sought after playground has a wave pool, three swimming pools, a 'lazy river' and over 2,700 tons of real sand and a beach side casino. There are 100 cabanas, day beds, bungalows and villas surrounding this sparkling jewel and all provide personal service for the ultimate in cool-n-sun fun!

The three story Beach-side Casino offers an open air Bar and Grill on the beach level, a glass fronted climate controlled gambling area with blackjack, roulette and craps on the second level, and the third level offers five villas with awe inspiring views of the entire Mandalay Beach area. The villas range from 250 to 500 square feet and can accommodate up to 16 guests with cabana service and access to a private 3rd level pool.

May through September the Beach Concert Series showcases some of the best names in music. Bring your blankets, and kick back for some awesome sounds in between dips or wading in the surf.

Shark Reef Aquarium
And don't forget the Shark Reef Aquarium, a separate attraction where the whole family can witness some of the most exciting aquatic creatures in the world. In this 1.6 million gallon aquarium there are over 2,000 animals and you can watch all kinds of sharks, sawfish, moon jellies, sea turtles and rare golden crocodiles.

If you happen to be 'dive certified' you can also SCUBA in the 1.3 million gallon, twenty two foot deep, Shipwreck Exhibit and rub fins with sharks, manta rays, sawfish, endangered green sea turtles and bristling schools of fish.

Last and certainly not least the gaming experience at Mandalay Bay is a reflection of the total property.
